Good news about SD came in just before post time: the party is now polling at 7.2%, up more than a percentage point since the most recent previous poll. With that percentage — and especially since they are trending upwards — not only are they guaranteed seats in next year’s parliamentary elections, but they will also be in a strong position to influence the formation of a coalition if the vote generally favours the center-right parties.
