The ERC together with local groups has helped to coordinate events in front of Irish embassies across Europe. The events and the messages varied from country to country, some held banners with slogans such as "Congratulation Ireland! You are having the referendum 486 million Europeans have been denied" or "Irish friends vote no for me" to "on 12th June we are all Irish". Some groups painted their faces and held balloons; others met the Irish Ambassador to their country and presented them with letters and flowers.
Together with Patricia McKenna Chairperson of the People's Movement we held a press conference on Friday 31st May.
