One of the best dissertations I've read on the topic of the state involving itself in the sexuality of the
masses, was written by fellow patriot and British National Party supporter Tim Heydon
He entitled his article, written at much length;
"David Cameron, The Pope, Homosexuality and Equality".
It is today I refer to his article only in the context of David Cameron's views on the subject of gays, after
having read his comments this morning on the Tory website
ConservativeHome, where he's noted by Jonathan Isaby
as having repeated his "mistake" to hold a previous view on Section 28 which banned the promotion of
homosexual relationships in schools.
He says; "If you are fleeing persecution and that fear is well-founded, then you should be able to stay. As I understand it, the 1951 Convention [on the rights of refugees] doesn't mention sexuality, but because it mentions membership of a social group, that phrase is being used by the courts, rightly, to say that if someone has a realistic fear of persecution they should be allowed to stay.", and further, that he would want to reverse the ban on gay men giving blood, saying; "It sounds perfectly logical and sensible to make the change... Logic would dictate that it's time to change."
I don't see any reason to set out my own views on this issue but I CAN offer an opinion that I feel the state has no business intruding into the heads of children in this way, nor has it any business in deciding who gives blood.
Where is there freedom of choice in this country when a politician who is completely without any experience of government, bereft of knowledge of wider society, carries less than a majority of polling results, is supposed to serve the national view, and is without a scrap of legal or medical knowledge, gets off like another dictating son of a bitch Brown?
But that's not all
He speaks about refugees being given safe haven under HIS interpretation of international law, yet he fails to
honour the terms of that same law in regard to refugee status. i.e. That a refugee has automatic refuge in
the 'nearest country' from that which they flee under 'persecution', and not half way across the world to
the last refuge of Britain because it happens to have a plonker in government who thinks it's great to be gay.
The only places on earth of course which would 'persecute' gays, would be Islamic countries. So my question is
why he fails to give this information when making calls for Britain to become the safe haven for Muslim Gays?
