Proud to have ratified Lisbon

Despite failing to turn up to the formal signing of the Lisbon Treaty, the Prime Minister also said that he was proud to have ratified the new European Constitution by a “large majority” in Parliament.

Gordon Brown buttering up the Euro federalists in the EU Parliament as he attempts to gain something, well anything from the upcoming G20 summit on the day that the Governor of the Bank of England warns that we cannot afford any more ‘fiscal stimulus‘. We should thank our lucky stars that we weren’t able to play the $1 trillion card trick of Barack Obama, the warning has gone out to the madmen that enough is enough as the UK PLC plays with the future economic security of our children and grandchildren.

Proud? What is there to be proud about in denying the British people the referendum that was promised in Labour’s election manifesto? What is there to be proud about in stifling our voices of dissent?

There is some cheer today,
Dan Hannan the Conservative MEP for South East England
rubbed Brown’s nose into the dirt reminding
the son of the manse that you cannot spend your
way out of recession or borrow your way out of debt,
luckily for us he’s posted the video of his speech today,
I doubt that we’ll see it on the BBC!

My word, Nigel Farage for UKIP had a right good go at him too,
and just look at Mr. Brown laughing!
